Dr. Salam Mohammed Arif is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and a hospitalist at Banner University Medical Center–Phoenix. He serves as core teaching faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he is known for his interactive, case-based teaching style and his dedication to developing learners’ clinical reasoning skills. Dr. Arif has led multiple educational and quality improvement initiatives, including structured curricula for elective rotations and evidence-based intern boot camps. He is deeply committed to mentorship, professional identity formation, and supporting learners as they transition through different stages of medical training.
